wishing i had a....

nice cold cup of iced vanilla chai... yum!! Oh well.. i'll just pretend i have one sitting here in front of me and try to "taste" it in my mouth.. Its kind of a relaxing morning. We just had toast and Carson had 2 bananas too this am.. He's a fruit lover, which is much better than loving junk food.. Yesterday went good.. We went to HyVee and got some grocery, had lunch, went to a bday party, and then came home and got stuff done. Felt good to do some DIY projects around the house. We have our end table sanded now and ready to be painted black. I started working on our slip cover for over the toy box that the tv is currently sitting on.. As you may have noticed on some of the pictures I've posted.. Hopefully i get that sewn today.. And i sure hope it fits too! But yea, lately I have found that my new hobby is DIY(do it yourself) projects.. Mainly house related projects.. I love doing decoration stuff for around the house, painting ugly brown wood to a different color(mainly black)... My mom told me that i am going to get sick of black... Nah... thats the style right now.. If it gets old, i can always paint it a different color.. I just cant wait to get everything tied in together after getting walls painted.. Which is something i plan to do THIS week.. possibly paint the wall that runs thru the living room and kitchen today after our hedrick/ottumwa trip.. Going to get some baby items from Target.. Hopefully they have everything i want/need.. I dont have anything for the cloth diapers so i want to get some wicker basket for those and place it on the end table shelf.. And need something for the baby clothes, its sitting in the laundry basket right now all clean and folded.. :) oh so far.. i've got 15-16 med diapers sewn.. I'm seriously thinking about only doing like 24 instead of 30!! Just getting tiring and never ending when it comes to working on diapers... I want it out of my mind!! I have what I call... "Pregnancy ADHD".. meaning, i pretty much don't know how to relax my mind till everything is done... actually... that could be called nesting.. Has anyone dealt with this before? Anyway, better go!
