Better day..

MUCH better than yesterday! It felt like a worthless day yesterday, i think the weather had a lot to do with it! Cold and ugly looking.. No sun.. All i did was made lunch, supper and cut Carson's hair.. I played a joke on my sister last night, I texted her and told her that we shaved Carson's hair last night and she text back and said, No, you didn't! She didn't hear back from me so she CALLED me and Alex answered and said yep, we shaved it off b/c Chelsea accidentally cut off some big chunks of hair so we just went ahead and shaved it.. I then got on the phone with her and you can kinda hear it in her voice thats she's about ready to cry.. LOL She must be in love with those curls! But anyway, i ended up telling her she's too gullible and then she was like so you didn't shave his hair!? But cut it?? Still have his curls and everything?? YES he still has the curls.. its just shorter now. (no, this was not my first time cutting his hair if you are still wondering... my 4th or 5th time.. we've only had his hair cut by a professional ONE time, that would be his first hair cut but its easy and long enough that I can handle it, nerve wrecking at times but tolerable.) Sister stopped by today, to check out his hair and make sure she still "approves" his hair(she said she'll be mad at me if i shave his hair... I'm thinking....MY son!) and to check out the bedroom.. We got that painted, now we need to paint the window trim that should have been done 2 years ago after replacing all the windows.. THEN we can have our bedroom back!!
We were outside most of the afternoon.. I painted the potato/onion bin thing I bought at a garage sale, painted that black.. I think its going to look awesome. Maybe I'll put it in the garage sale and see if i make a profit off of it, if it doesn't sell, thats fine, I'll keep it! But i enjoyed it tho! Give me an excuse to go garage saleing and maybe make a profit off of something.. I think its becoming a hobby.. Carson enjoys being outside and I do too.. Almost relaxing for me. Being in the house reminds me of everything i need to do.. I try to do the projects i can do outside.. :)
Well better go make the dough and meat for the pizza tonight.. Going to my cousins softball game tonight. Makes me miss playing softball.. Oh well, someday when I have a daughter, i can coach her team, if she has the love for softball like i did..(told Alex the other day that i want to do that) My mom coached for many years with mine and my sister's team and she enjoyed it.. About the only trait I'll pass down from her(willingly).. :D Ok now off to make the pizza..

When we do our part to train our children in the ways of God, they will know that the things of God are top priority. They will become God-controlled and not flesh-controlled. They will long for His ways, His Word, and His presence. They will fear God and live a longer and better life.
